The Addictions Project
Come along for the free celebratory Gala performance of The Addictions Project.
The action takes place inside the head of a young girl named Kate. We meet an eclectic array of characters who live in her consciousness: Mind - the intellect of the operation, Intuition - her gut instinct, Lefty and Righty who control her body functions and the bullish CNS (Central Nervous System) who sends out the commands under the gentle authority of Control - Kate’s soul.
When Kate starts secondary school she struggles to fit in so, when one of her classmates suggest she tries something new, she is keen to be accepted and agrees. Inside her head charming Adam (her new addiction) comes to visit and starts to undermine the operational teams authority over Kate’s behaviour.
The play tells the story of Kate’s internal battle with addiction.
