Toyah Willcox

From punk princess to high priestess of TV, Toyah Willcox is a uniquely gifted performer. Charismatic, outspoken and impossible to categorise, she is one of Britain's iconic household names - an award-winning rock legend as well as a much-loved actress and music composer.

Toyah will be performing a full set with her band, featuring songs from In The Court Of The Crimson Queen along with classic hits and fan favourites.

A colourful character, part of the '80s post-punk New Wave scene, Toyah had considerable chart success with hits such as It's A Mystery, I Want To Be Free and Brave New World. Alongside her ongoing recording career and role as a TV presenter, Toyah has also trod the boards with the lead role in the musical Annie Get Your Gun.

There is a special local link as Toyah has been married to local musician, founding member of King Crimson and highly acclaimed guitarist and musician Robert Fripp, for the past twenty eight years.
