London Swing Orchestra

The Great Legends of Jazz and Swing is a story book of the birth and development of this genre from Scott Joplin to Frank Sinatra. It is told in amusing and enlightening anecdotes by the director and singer Graham Dalby and stunningly illustrated by nine top international musicians playing authentic arrangements from the various decades of Jazz and Swing. A lecture recital and a concert all rolled into one.

The London Swing Orchestra has been playing for over a quarter of a century from London to Hong Kong. The band has appeared on a number of occasions by Royal invitation and has recorded a long string of BBC radio and television sessions including The Mrs Bradley Murders. They have consolidated their large recorded output on a new set of CD's - a recent four album series 1920's - 1960's.
