It was Darin who had the hit record with 'Mack the Knife' and this show takes you on a journey through his career - from the early days through to his shows in Las Vegas, and his untimely death at the young age of 37. Singer Tony Benedict (lead singer of the world famous 'Kings of Swing') is an authority on the life and music of Bobby Darin, and he weaves his own special kind of magic with the songs and the stories. He is accompanied by the Greg Francis Orchestra, who will also play for Ballroom/Sequence dancing in the evening.

Tony started his professional career in a big way. In 2002, he became resident singer with The Blackpool Tower Big Band, under the guidance of it's musical director Greg Francis. Together, they presented a tribute to the music of Frank Sinatra. The following year, they started a new show at the Blackpool Tower - The Kings of Swing. Since that time, Tony has established himself as the leading exponent of the music of Bobby Darin, and has appeared with many and various Big Bands and Orchestras.
