The Old Town Hall theatre offers the best of professional drama, music, dance, comedy, children's theatre and the visual arts. Situated in the heart of Hemel Hempstead's picturesque old town, the Old Town Hall has been a performing arts venue since 1978. It is a Grade 2 listed building constructed in 1852. Over the years the Old Town Hall has hosted performances by Trestle Theatre Company, Paines Plough, English Pocket Opera, Mark Baldwin Dance, The Royal Court, Mark Thomas, Little Angel Theatre Company, Clare Teal, Kompany Malakhi, Quicksilver Theatre Company, Eddie Izzard and Hull Truck Theatre Company to name just a few.
