Bowood House & Gardens

Wiltshire

Bowood House is the impressive family home of the Marquis and Marchioness of Lansdowne, having been designed by Robert Adam in the 18th Century. A collection of family heirlooms can be seen on display inside the house; including Victoriana, Indiana, silver, porcelain, fine paintings and watercolours. The 100 acre property also includes a 40 acre lake, the Cascade Waterfall, Doric Temple, arboretum, pinetum and terraced rose garden. For young children, Bowood offers an outstanding Adventure Playground.
