One of the City's most famous landmarks, Norwich Castle was built by the Normans as a Royal Palace 900 years ago. Used as a prison from the 14th century, the Castle became a museum in 1894.

Opening hours: Monday to Friday 10:00am-4:30pm / Saturday 10:00am-5:00pm / Sunday 1:00pm-5:00pm (24 - 26 Dec 2008 & 1 Jan 2009) / School half-terms, Easter & summer holidays: Monday to Saturdady 10:00am-5:30pm / Sunday 1:00pm-5:00pm

General Admission: £5.80 adult / £4.95 concessions / £4.25 children
