The Spice Girls have finally announced that they will be reforming and taking part in a world tour this December.
The announcement was made at a press conference in London earlier today.
The tour will visit America, Europe, Asia and the UK, and will mark the first full-band performances since Geri Halliwell's departure in 1998.
According to the BBC, Halliwell, aka Ginger Spice, commented 'I think for us it was about celebrating the past, enjoying each other and it's about our fans. It was the right time,'

Mel C, who had initially resisted the reunion, added, 'I think really all of us have had our fears and doubts but we feel that the time is right.'
