Primal Scream have walked away with the Outstanding Contribution to Live Music prize at this year's Vodafone Live Music Awards. They beat off competition from Muse and The Verve, whilst also walking away with the title of Best Live Act. The Spice Girls took the award for Best Live Return (beating Led Zeppelin, The Verve and James) with Kings Of Leon taking Best International Act. Mark Ronson and Kate Nash took Best Male and Best Female, while The Ting Tings went home with the XFM Live Breakthrough Award. Welsh rockers Kiddo360 were given the Live & Unsigned Act award, with T In The Park taking the title of 4Music Festival of the Year. The Sony Ericsson Tour of the Year was handed to the recent Take That Arena Tour. The ceremony, hosted by Steve Jones and Juliette Lewis, was held last night at London's Brixton Academy, but for those who missed it, footage from the show will be shown on 4Music on Friday 19th September at 9:00pm, T4 on Saturday 20th September at 10:00am and Channel 4 on Saturday 20th September at 11.25pm.
