October tour for The Charlatans

Following the success of their retrospective Some Friendly dates earlier this month, The Charlatans have announced details of a new UK tour for October.

The band are currently putting the finishing touches to their new album Who We Touch, due for release on September 6th and preceded by the release of the single Love Is Ending on July 19th.

The thirteen date tour starts in Newcastle on October 7th, then calls at Edinburgh, Dundee, Liverpool, Nottingham, Leeds, Sheffield, Manchester, Oxford, Bristol, Norwich and London, finishing in Birmingham on October 23rd.

The legendary Happy Mondays frontman Shaun Ryder is the special guest on the tour and will be opening all shows.
