The Little Britain shows due to take place in Cardiff this week have been postponed due to illness. Last night's (23rd February) show was cancelled as Matt Lucas was unable to perform and it was announced today that shows for the next three nights have been rescheduled for December. A statement from the organisers reads:
"Due to the continued indisposition of Matt Lucas the Little Britain shows at the Cardiff Arena scheduled for 24th 25th 26th are unable to take place. Currently, the event promoters have been able to reschedule the previously cancelled 23rd February show for 6th December and 24th February for the December 7th. Both the event promoters and the venue are looking for dates to reschedule the shows planned for 25th and 26th February. Tickets holders should retain their tickets until a further announcement is made."
Ticket holders are advised that original tickets remain valid for the new dates but should they be unable to attend, refunds are available from the point of purchase.
At the moment the comedy duo hope to resume their tour on Monday in Liverpool but ticket holders are advised to check with the venue before travelling.
