Led Zeppelin bassist John Paul Jones has confirmed that the band are planning on taking to the road again, but without frontman Robert Plant. Speaking to BBC Radio Devon at Manson's Guitar Show in Exeter last weekend, Jones said that himself, Jimmy Page and Jason Bonham have been trying out new singers, but were not looking for a replica of Robert Plant, saying ' You could get that out of a tribute band, but we don't want to be our own tribute band.' Plant ruled himself out of touring or recording with the rock legends last month with a statement on his official website reading ' It's both frustrating and ridiculous for this story to continue to rear its head when all the musicians that surround the story are keen to get on with their individual projects and move forward.'
