Katie Melua has announced an extensive European tour to follow the release of her fourth studio album, which will be released in May 2010. The tour includes 13 shows in the UK in December, kicking off at Manchester Apollo on Saturday 4th December and concluding at Bristol's Colston Hall on Tuesday 21st December. Melua's as yet untitled new album is currently in its final stages, with producer William Orbit describing the recording sessions as "one of the finest things I've ever been involved with. I am hearing what can only be described as magic".
