Atonement and The Last King Of Scotland star James McAvoy will be starring in a new West End production of Richard Greenberg's Three Days Of Rain early next year. The play tells the story of Walker (McAvoy), the son of a wealthy and renowned architect who reunites with his sister and childhood friend Pip (played by Eastenders bad boy Nigel Harman) for the reading of his father, Ned's, will. Delving deep into Ned's past, the trio must decide the best way to split his estate, including an architecturally important house built alongside Pip's father in the 1960s. Previewing from the 30th January at the Apollo Theatre on Shaftesbury Avenue, the show will run until Saturday 2nd May. Performances will take place Monday to Saturday at 7:30pm, with matinees at 3:00pm on Wednesdays and Saturdays. Three Days Of Rain will follow another star-turn at the Apollo, as Hollywood actor Josh Hartnett finishes his run as Charlie Babbitt in a new stage adaptation of the Oscar-winning film Rain Man.
