
Arcade Fire
The nominees for this year's Shortlist Prize have been announced, and include Arcade Fire, M.I.A., Klaxons and Kings Of Leon.
The award is considered to be the US equivalent of the Mercury Music Prize, and, now in its seventh year, has garnered much respect from the music industry and artists alike.
Past winners have included Cat Power for her album The Greatest, Sufjan Stevens for Illinois, TV On The Radio and Damien Rice.
Other nominees for this year's prize, which runs to fifty-four in total, include Biffy Clyro, Bjork, Calvin Harris, Iron And Wine, PJ Harvey, Wilco and LCD Soundsystem.
