A study of the Fall of Man, from Macbeth's original condition of innocence he becomes a desecration of himself, his wife and his country; defiling everything that approaches him and everything that he touches. The Chamber is an adaptation concept. Subplots have been stripped away. All scenes without Macbeth have been removed – with only one exception for Lady Macbeth. Only what he knows and sees can be shown on stage. This creates an intimate and intense ritual, in which the audience are included as participants.
