The Army Of Crime
After Quentin Tarantino took liberties with history in Inglourious Basterds, French director Robert Guediguian looks to restore the balance with his wire taut retelling of the true story of a group of immigrants led by the poet Missak Manouchian in a clandestine battle against the Nazi occupation of 1940s Paris. As these twenty-two men and women risk their lives fighting for their country's freedom they become heroes, plaguing the Nazis and their collaborators. But as news of their daring attacks reaches Berlin, the Gestapo order the French police to use any means necessary to stop this Army of Crime.
