Away We Go
John Krasinski and Maya Rudolph play Burt and Verona, a down and out couple with few professional ambitions, even fewer friends and no sense of home - and Verona is six months pregnant. When Burt's parents leave town and the two realise they have no reason to stay in their rundown shack, they hit the road to visit family and old acquaintances, all the while searching for ways to alter their status as supreme screw-ups. Krasinski is endearing as Burt, and Rudolph is incredibly good, giving emotional depth to the role of a pregnant underachiever. Fans of 'Juno' should appreciate this film that is emotionally engaging and darkly funny.
