Mesrine: Killer Instinct 
Mesrine: Killer Instinct is a French film based on the true story of the rise of the notorious and utterly ruthless gangster, Jacques Mesrine. After returning home from the army, Mesrine (played brilliantly by Vincent Cassel) sets off on a life of violent crime, with hold ups, prison breaks, and kidnappings in the 1960s and '70s. As the first of two films about the notorious gangster, Mesrine: Killer Instinct is a must see for any fan of the gangster genre. A strong cast including Cecile de France as a prostitute who joins Mesrine on the run, and Gerard Depardieu as a crime boss, enhances this excellent adaptation of the life of this legendary gangster.
