Moon 
A stunning space epic that is, for once, a true science fiction throwback that isn't based on a book by Isaac Asimov and, more importantly, doesn't have Will Smith bawling all over it. Director Duncan Jones and writer Nathan Parker together handle the theme of man-machine coexistence brilliantly alongside Sam Rockwell's portrayal of Sam Bell, a helium-3 miner whose only companion is Gerty (Kevin Spacey), a robot stationed on the lunar base. In the last few weeks of his assignment, Sam begins to hallucinate and crashes his lunar rover. Waking up in the infirmary, Sam becomes suspicious of Gerty and his employers - and will soon make a discovery that calls his very life into question.
