Monsters V's Aliens 
DreamWorks follow up the successful Kung Fu Panda with this solid animation that will have you taking the kids to hide the shame of wanting to see it for yourself. The movie centres around a gang of monsters; a man-fish (voiced by Will Arnett), an oozing blob (Seth Rogen), a human-insect thingamajig (Hugh Laurie) and a berserko giant insect. The newest member of the motley crew is Susan (Reese Witherspoon), who is basically right out of 'Attack of the 50 Foot Woman'. An extraterrestrial invasion soon arises and the monsters are offered freedom from government confinement in exchange for saving the earth. There's even a colossal battle between the planet's goofy saviours against a one-eyed robot in the middle of San Francisco. If that doesn't sound cool to you, then why are you still reading this? Monsters Vs. Aliens is a hilarious animation definitely worth a watch!
