Sidney Young (Simon Pegg) is a bumbling British journalist who somehow finds himself working for top celebrity magazine Sharp in the heart of New York City. Despite being warned by his boss, Clayton Harding (Jeff Bridges), to be on his best behaviour, it's not long before his bad manners and tactless pranks begin to get him in trouble. His one saving grace, however, is fellow writer Alison Olsen (Kirsten Dunst), who takes pity on Sidney, guiding him carefully through the social hazards of life in New York high society. British farce meets American wit in this laugh-a-minute comedy, with Gillian Anderson, Megan Fox and Danny Huston.
