Former spy Bryan Mills (Liam Neeson) is the proud, if rather over-protective, father of seventeen year-old Kim (Maggie Grace). When Kim decides she wants to go to Europe with her best friend Amanda (Katie Cassidy), Bryan reluctantly agrees, making Kim agree to call him as soon as soon as her plane lands. But when they do speak, Bryan is horrified to hear his daughter being kidnapped while he's helplessly on the other end of the phone. With just 96 hours to rescue her, Bryan must use all his skills and training, letting nothing, and no one, stand in his way. High-octane thriller set largely in Paris, with Nicolas Giraud, Famke Janssen and Xander Berkeley.
