From the makers of City Of God, and the series with which it shares its name, City Of Men tells the story of best friends Laranjinha (Darlan Cunha) and Acerola (Douglas Silva) and their struggle for survival in the slums of Rio de Janeiro. As the two boys approach their 18th birthdays, their futures begin to weigh heavily on their minds. Laranjinha wants to find his father while Acerola is determined to look after his family, but a terrible mistake from their pasts is determined to catch up with them and the boys find themselves battling to save both their lives and their friendship.
