An Inconvenient Truth 
When Bill Clinton's former deputy lost the 2000 American Presidential election to George 'Dubya' Bush - courtesy of the State of Florida and some dubious electoral practices - the course of world history was undoubtedly changed forever. As was Gore's life, of course, which he is now passionately devoting to saving the planet from environmental meltdown. This inspirational documentary follows Gore and his 'global warming roadshow' as he tries to convince the world, and especially his fellow countrymen, to take some drastic action to head off a planetary emergency. It's honestly not as dull and worthy as it seems, and Gore is funny, engaging and passionate about his cause. Why couldn't he have been like that in 2000?
