Charlie & The Chocolate Factory 
A film adaptation of Roald Dahl's much loved children's classic, this tells the story of Charlie Bucket (Freddie Highmore), an impoverished child who wins a trip to a chocolate factory along with four other children. Whilst there, he meets the eccentric chocolate-maker Willy Wonka (Johnny Depp) who leads them on an extraordinary adventure. Whilst director Tim Burton is perhaps better known for darker fare than this, his imagination and visual flair are on top form here, and he successfully transfers the wonder of the book to the big screen.
