Up once again finds Pixar redefining the state of the digital art, using animation to tell a tale as rich and human as anything you'll see in cinemas this year. Built on a core of almost overwhelming sadness, the story follows a recently widowed 78-year-old balloon salesman Carl Fredricksen (voiced by Ed Asner) who plans to fly his house from the USA to the primeval South American jungle in order to fulfil a promise he'd made to his beloved wife. When his plan kicks into gear, he discovers all too late that his biggest nightmare has stowed away on the trip: an overly optimistic 8-year-old Wilderness Explorer named Russell. Their journey to a lost world, where they encounter some strange, exotic and surprising characters, is filled with hilarity, emotion and wildly imaginative adventure.
