About this event
The Bristol Takeover is lining up to be one of the most exciting music events in the city this year! The Oxjam Bristol team will be taking over Stokes Croft / Gloucester Road to bring Bristol a festival of the finest local talent, while making a difference globally.
With a theme of THE BEST OF BRISTOL Oxjam Bristol is showcasing the very best live music and celebrating the sheer calibre of artists in this great city.
8 of the most notorious city centre venues are celebrating local music all day long and there's something for everyone - rock, hip hop, soul, gypsy jazz, indie, breaks, dub, alternative, reggae, funk, ska, cabaret and folk.
Your ticket can be exchanged for a wristband at The Canteen, Stokes Croft this will gain access to all Oxjam Bristol Takeover Festival venues (subject to capacity of individual venues)
The event is organised by local volunteers and involves local acts, with all of the profits going towards Oxfam's work to help others to overcome poverty and suffering around the world. Local music, global impact.
