About this event
Scottish Opera's inaugural composer-in-residence has revised Dance 'til the Sun Sets especially for the company's annual 15 date whistle-stop tour.
It will feature alongside arias, duets and ensembles from the likes of Verdi's La traviata, Mozart's Don Giovanni, Puccini's Madama Butterfly, and Bizet's Carmen, as well as less well-known gems by Smetana, Ambroise Thomas, Rimsky-Korsakov and Emmerich Kalman.
A cast of four talented young singers and a pianist will bring the eclectic programme to life in venues from Jedburgh to Mull, Arran to Lochinver, Glenrothes to Livingston, Largs to Musselburgh and back again.
A welcome winter warmer for audiences of all ages, Opera Highlights offers something for everyone, from seasoned fans to opera first-timers.
