Hot Club De Paris
Hard-to-pin-down threesome Hot Club De Paris, are a mixture of modern pop and indie bringing a new spin on the classic britpop band of the mid nineties and the post punk of the eighties. Formed in 2004, and after practising harmonies like there was no tomorrow, Paul Rafferty, Matthew Smith and Alasdair Smith got a record deal and have been touring ever since. Some say they sound like the BeachBoys - throw in a bit of Pulp, Dexy's Midnight Runners and the Arctic Monkeys and you may be getting close.
Sky Larkin
Euphoric and atmospheric rock from indie-types Sky Larkin. Having toured with The Gossip, Broken Social Scene and iForward Russia!, this Leeds based trio are most certainly ones to watch. '...a glorious mixture of stupendous pop melodies, pleasing-to-the-eye personnel and a host of quirks to boot.' - Drowned In Sound.
B>E>A>K
Hatched from a musical nest in Sunderland back in 2005 as an experimental side project.
Over the years the flock has evolved featuring members of 'This Aint Vegas, Field Music, Razmatazz Lorry Excitement, Maximo Park, Coal Train and The Lake Poets to name just a handful.
Visually stimulating, masked and brightly colour co-ordinated, B>E>A>K have been generating anticipation and excitement amongst gig goers up and down the country.
