Sunderland-based playing guitar-led post punk in the style of Wire with a twist of XTC. There's four of them in the band and they all sing; not harmony or unison - but all different tunes at once that somehow intertwine. Punk opera, perhaps?
Lions probably do chase tigers but they probably don't make tunes like these guys so young. Think of a good heady mix of Aereogramme and Minus The Bear, throw in a bit of melody and volume and you get a bit of what these guys are about.
Brother Louis Collective is a new group gathered round the precocious talent of the young, foot-stamping, faintly maniacal singer/songwriter Louis Abbott. Their sets go from simple voice and guitar compositions, through stomping Wilco-esque tunes to riotous cacophonies of white noise.
