Yngve And The Innocent

Yngve and the Innocent feature the German born Irish songwriting talent of Yngve Wieland and his band of Ned Cartwright, Palmi Gunnlaugur Hjaltason and brother Damien Wieland. Yngve (pronounced Ing-vuh) started out solo in 2004 and since then has shared the stage with Paul Weller, Nina Hynes and Jape amongst others. The band play alternative folk tunes from a more traditional background along with the individuality of ideas from the collective with themes of love, loss and innocence with a healthy dose of Dublin cynicism.
