'Fantastic tunes to get you dancing and a great mix of harmonies' from a Hull based band. Solo project from Bod of Hull-based pop mavericks Fonda 500. Influenced by PJ Harvey, Cat Power and Astrud Gilberto.

The Schoolgirls

Three piece garage/punk band with an exciting and satirical air about their music. Their sound is taken from the psychedelic years and a hint from The Stooges.

Siamese Twist are a true freak of nature. Singer Rebecca's vocals are a beguiling blend of Siouxsie Sioux, PJ Harvey and Sandie Shaw, weaving their way through a tense, melodic mesh of interlocking guitars, monolithic bass and tight, on-the-money drumming. Dramatic, romantic, and drawing on the darker side of ambitious '80s alternative rock- The Chameleons, The Church, Bauhaus and even early U2- Siamese Twist's deceptively simple songs draw you in as flies to a web, and only too late do you realise you're stuck with them forever.
