More Information

Orbital

Orbital

Dance music is too narrow a term for the genius of the Hartnoll brothers. Capable of both rib-shaking, energetic techno and incredible multi-layered ambient soundscapes, and blessed with a godlike genius when it comes to their DJing sets, Orbital have succeeded Kraftwerk as the Kings of techno and electronica.

Human League

Formed in the late 1970s by Sheffield-based computer programmers Ian Craig Marsh and Martyn Ware, Human League evolved into one of the seminal 80s electro pop bands. Fronted by former hospital porter, Philip Oakey - and featuring dancers Susan Ann Sulley and Joanne Catherall - the band went on to record some of the most influential songs of the decade.

Status Quo

Legendary three-chord maestros who have been rockin' all over the world for over 35 years. With more Top Of The Pops appearances than any other band, Francis Rossi and Rick Parfitt have spent in excess of 417 week (that's over eight accumulative years!) in the British Singles Charts. In 1991, the guys were awarded a Brit for their Outstanding Contribution to Music; and Rick and Francis were awarded their long-deserved OBEs in 2010.

Just Jack

Just Jack

One of the most highly acclaimed new artists to arrive at the back end of 2002 is Camden native 'Just' Jack Allsopp. Jack's debut album, 'The Outer Marker' was released to glowing reviews, Q magazine said: 'the album is bursting with ideas and there's plenty to admire'. Part old school hip-hop, part Massive Attack but mostly strong songs and melodies based on personal experiences and observations of growing up in London and living in France for a summer.
