Los Guayaberos

This legendary group are born from the heart of traditional Cuban music. Once led by the great Don Faustino Oramas, a famously enigmatic singer songwriter, are now one of the strongest traditional bands playing in Cuba. Their repertoire is made up of the hundreds of songs written by their old band leader Faustino including songs like ‘Hay Candela’ (made famous by the Buena Vista Social Club), and ‘Marionetta’ which have become Cuban classics in their own rite. Newer songs written by the bands current musicians are interweaved into their set.
