Brian Higgins

Brian Higgins

One of that not so rare breed, a mad, hard-drinking ginger-haired Scotsman, Brian Higgins is also one of that rarer set – he's funny! A favourite with students, he manages to both ignore and play up to the stereotype to laugh both with and at it, in a spellbinding set that covers everything from a 'loony childhood', his former days as a paramedic (honest), as well as life's ups and downs in an always topical set. Described as the 'people's favourite comedian' by The Stage, combined with his energetic delivery, he never fails to deliver the goods.

Jeff Innocent

Jeff Innocent

Jeff Innocent is a popular and experienced stand up comedian who performs all over the world. He has also appeared on TV, radio and in film as a comic, actor or cultural commentator and has published written work. His particular style of comedy is forged from his unique background. Born during the mid 1950's into a working class east London family with strong underworld connections, he became interested in socialist politics which led him to study philosophy and history at university. Thus his on stage 'cockney geezer' image contrasts brilliantly with unlikely subject matter such as ethical shopping, global warming and ageism. This last topic being part of a new one man show 'Grey Matters' which Jeff is currently working on for 2010.
