Kanda Bongo Man, from the Democractic Republic of Congo, is the world's leading exponent of Soukous, the hottest dance music to come out of Africa for decades. He is joined by an eight-piece band.

Mankala is a 5-piece multicultural band playing rhythmic and energetic original music with lots of African, Caribbean and Latin elements. The band brings together musicians from diverse places such as Martinica and Trinidad, Zambia, Canary Islands and England. With a fresh uplifting and rhythmic sound, inflected with a variety of eclectic styles such as zouk, calypso, soca, reggae, a touch of afro-beat and a hint of salsa, Mankala is definitively a live band that will get the party started. African grooves and Latin-funk add up to a night to remember.
