The man behind the successful 'Future World Funk' album series and club nights, and the driving force of London ICA's Brazilian 'Batmacumba' club.
Sounds of Bahian Roots culture and carnival vibes. Eri Okan means 'conscience' and the group, fronted by Xavier Osmir, plays inspirational grooves with lyrics dealing with profound themes. With songs in Portuguese, Yoruba, Pidgin and English, Eri Okan performs with 10 members, singing, dancing and drumming linking Bahia, Jamaica, Nigeria and London.
