A full day of the highest class brass entertainment, brilliantly compered by Frank Renton (of BBC Radio 2's Listen to the Band). This Championship features many of the finest brass bands in the world, each performing their own mini-concert from marches to show tunes to classical overtures.

The Cory Band

From the Rhondda Valley in South Wales, The Cory Band were European Brass Band Champions in 2008, then successfully defended their title to become Champions again in 2009, adding to their success by also winning the 2009 British Open Championship at Birmingham's Symphony Hall. They have a rich history dating back to 1884 when it was first formed as Ton Temperance and continues to be a highly successful band performing at many of the worlds finest venues.

Norwegian brass band.

The Fairey Band

Founded in 1937 from a group of employees at the Fairey Aviation Works this wonderful brass band are sixteen times British Open Champions and nine times winners of the title 'National Champion Band of Great Britain'.
