It is rumoured that Rex is an alias of Jake Williams who had a slew of top ten hits in Europe in the early 90s. Others claim Rex is a German electro/techno producer. Others claim he is a super intelligent mutant dog. Regardless of his exact identity, Rex The Dog is a reference to the Rex The Wonder Dog cartoon series that was created by DC Comics in the 50s. His recent back catalogue includes remixes for The Knife, Depeche Mode, Mylo, The Prodigy and Soulwax. He makes wacky retro analogue all out stomping electro!
