More Information

Pavement

Pavement

One the most important American band of the 1990s is returning to the stage, with the lineup of Mark Ibold, Scott 'Spiral Stairs' Kannberg, Stephen Malkmus, Bob Nastanovich and Steve West reuniting for dates around the world in 2010.

For more information, see the website

Faust

Faust

Founded in 1971, Krautrock band Faust were one of the most influential forces in the development of ambient and industrial textures. 'There is no group more mythical than Faust' said Julian Cope - and he should know!

The Fall

The Fall

Seminal 80s band led by the inimitable Mark E Smith, 'Bard of Salford' and lyricist for the post-punk generation. Their music defies orthodox classification and Smith's lyrics challenge the audience with 'a return to an oral tradition that fashioned an ugly new set of features to graft over the similarly rancid roots of stone age rock'n'roll' (NME 1983).

For more information, see the website

Quasi

American duo, signed to Domino Records and featuring sometime drummer of Sleater-Kinney, Janet Weiss and Sam Coomes (keys & tricks). Their way with winning pop melodies has led to comparisons with '60s heroes The Zombies and The Kinks.

For more information, see the website

Enablers

San Fransisco based avant-super-group, a blend of spoken word and 'possibly the world's best power trio'.
