James Dowdeswell

Known for his witty one-liners and celebration of the awkward, comedian James Dowdeswell has been likened to ‘…Eminem rapping Shakespeare.’(Venue Magazine). Having supported Phil Kay on his 2000 national tour and having won the Jongleurs New Act award, he has been commended for his honest and natural performances and his ability to make friends with his audiences; ‘I think we all came out of the auditorium feeling that we'd actually got to know someone, as well as being entertained’ said Three Weeks Magazine.

Mary Bourke

Mary Bourke

Dublin-born comic, now living in London. She was the winner of the Irish World Comedian Of The Year Award 1999, and has been a finalist in several other competitions. She has performed all over the world, including the USA and Australia, winning over the audiences with her strange take on everyday events. She is currently writing her first novel.
