A big man with a broad sound and great charisma, Don, a veteran of more than 30 years standing on the British Jazz scene, has worked with some of the finest British and American players, including Alan Price, Stan Tracey and Gil Evans' - 606 Club

Bobby Wellins

Bobby Wellins has been a significant force in British Jazz since the mid 50s. His playing on Stan Tracey's Under Milk Wood album in 1965 was a major contribution to its seminal status (voted all-time favourite British jazz album in a 'Jazz UK’ readers poll). A keeper of the be-bop flame for many years, his playing now is as adventurous and exploratory as ever.
