Graham Coxon

Graham Coxon

It's hard to believe that skinny indie lad Graham Coxon is now in his forties, but there it is - and a brief glance at his CV will lessen the surprise somewhat: a career with Blur spanning 13 years and a massively adored solo performer since 1998. The multi-instrumentalist has produced a variety of albums from the folkish-rockish The Sky Is Too High to his latest offering, the narrative concept album The Spinning Top, and continues to be a solid and influential figure in modern British music.

Robyn Hitchcock

Robyn Hitchcock

The man has over a dozen solo albums and seems to be a bottomless well of imagination - the usual extremes of emotion love, life and death, sprinkled with large grains of humour. A fabulous guitarist who can hold his own with one of the best rhythm sections there is. Live and in combination the output is consistently excellent. A multi-layered psychedelic sound that bites.
