Lucy Orta

Plymouth Arts Centre and Plymouth College of Art present an exhibition with Lucy Orta. Orta is currently Professor of Art Fashion and the Environment at the London College of Fashion, and has exhibited her work internationally at leading contemporary galleries and museums, including the Barbican Art Galley in London and the Modern Art Museum in Paris. This exhibition presents a plethora of art produced over the last decade. Her thought-provoking work explores and challenges the dynamic relationships between fragile social structures and the environmental context that is physical, political and economic.
