More Information

Kasabian

Kasabian

A glorious synth-tinged melting pot of indie rock that will caress the eardrums. Formed in Leicester while still at school, they took their name from Linda Kasabian, one of the members of the Charles Manson cult. Their electronica-indie rock fusion akin to Primal Scream combined with the rough vocal style and unrepentant Mancunian swagger of Oasis has firmly established them as more than just a flash in the pan and injected a large dose of energy back into the Brit-rock scene.

Sugababes

Sugababes

A three-piece all-girl pop group whose original members were all under 17 when they first hit the charts. Their chart smash reworking of the Gary Numan classic Freak Like Me got to No 1, and also earned the sassy trio a Q Award for Best Single. Since then they have taken the pop world by storm with a top 5 platinum album (Angels With Dirty Faces) and a Brit Award for Best Dance Act in 2003. The recent departure of founder member Keisha Buchanan gives the girls their fourth line-up change, with new member Jade Ewan joining Heidi Range and Amelle Berrabah.
