Scattered combines Motionhouse’s trademark highly physical dance theatre and mesmerizing aerial imagery in a unique interaction between film and live performance, created in collaboration with Logela Multimedia from the Basque region of Spain. Scattered explores our relationship with water and how it surrounds us in different forms throughout our lives: in birth water ties us to life and in ice, floods and tides, it can wash our lives away. Scattered delves into the beauty and absurdity of water in different elements as seven dancers dive into a moving stream, wrestle a raging tide and slide on an avalanche to a frozen landscape of arctic beauty.
