Introspective American folk music from a Seattle based artist with influences such as Randy Newman, Neil Young, Lou Reed and Sonic Youth. Currently, Jurado releases music on the Secretly Canadian label, touring and writing music in between teaching kindergarten. An interesting facet of his music is his tendency towards experimentation, often using found sound and field recordings in his work.

A band made up of Matt Brennan, Michael John McCarthy and Kim Moore. Hailing from Canada, Ireland and England respectively, they assembled rather accidentally in GLasgow and now happily make music together. Quirky, talented and cheerfully subversive, the three multi-instrumentalist ragamuffin trio flirt with Casio keyboards, laptops, violas and accordions, in addition to the more traditional fare of guitars, drums and vocals.
