Inspired by the 1300-year history and culture of glass making in the North East, National Glass Centre's publicly accessible hot glass production studio and the 2000-year tradition that sees Chinese Acrobats transform ordinary domestic vessels with daring feats of skill, this ambitious original work will explore the parallels and the dynamism that brings each part together to make a whole. A series of vignettes performed throughout National Glass Centre's building will bring glass making and acrobatics together in a unique riverside location.
