British Sea Power

British Sea Power are Yan, Noble Hamilton, Woody and Eamon. The band began life in Cumbria, 2001, and after a few relocations gained an enormous reputation in Brighton and then Europe, as tour supports to such greats as Interpol and The Flaming Lips. By the end of 2004, they were known worldwide, receiving acclaim as 'the best band in Britain' (Sunday Times) and attaining the Time Out award for Live Band Of The Year. It's quite remarkable that in this short time, BSP have established themselves as one of Britain's most noteworthy bands.

The Twang

Mystery Jets

'Perfectly formed pop' (Bugbear). A band who manage to do something new with the rock sound. Their music is unusual and boundary pushing, but luckily they have the technical prowess to pull it off, sometimes mastering kitchen utensils as well as more standard instruments.

Seth Lakeman

2005 Mercury Music Prize nominee Seth Lakeman is a dynamic young Devon musician and one of the biggest stars on the folk roots scene. His album 'Kitty Jay' was launched in front of an audience made up of inmates at Dartmoor Prison and was voted Time Out magazine's No 1 Folk / Roots album of 2004. He fronts his own band, together with brother Sean Lakeman, one of the most accomplished six string guitarists in the UK and Ben Nicholls, the versatile acoustic double bassist.

Joe Lean and the Jing Jang Jong

Joe Lean is just one of the alter egos of Joe Beaumont, former drummer from The Pipettes, aka actor Joe Van Moyland. The Jing Jang Jong are set to be his most successful project with their brand of catchy indie-pop. Definitely one to watch out for at a small venue before they become huge!

Miike Snow

They've completed their album and the have a bona fide chart-topping writer in their ranks. Miike Snow have exploded onto the music scene with the summer anthem 'Animal' and have already remixed Vampire Weekend and Peter Bjorn & John.

Iain Archer

Iain Archer's reputation has been built considerably by his part in the indie rock outfit Snow Patrol, although his career as a solo artist precedes the band by almost a decade, having released several albums in the 1990s on the Sticky Music label. Iain's award-winning songwriting is now once again flourishing, having released the album Flood The Tanks in 2004 and touring on his own once more.
